During the summer of 2020, HBO Max created a nationwide search to find social media interns. They asked all applicants to create a TikTok video as a part of the application process under the hashtag #HBOMaxSummerIntern.

My Application Video

I joined 200+ people in creating a TikTok video under the internship hashtag. This is the video that started it all.

 

Meet the Interns

After several rounds of interviews, I was chosen to join HBO Max’s growth marketing team with four other talented individuals.

 
 

Responsibilities

  • Create marketing decks for audience development and engagement strategies

  • Research and report competitor campaigns (organic and paid)

  • Engage in community management on all social platforms

  • Pitch and create content for TikTok

Accomplishments

  • Increased TikTok followers over 450K

  • Generated over 70M video views

  • Spoke on a WarnerMedia panel

  • Featured in AdWeek, TikTok, and Chapman University articles
